New Zealand Post has been part of New Zealand life since 1840, when the first post office was established in the Bay of Islands. Today the New Zealand Post Group, close to 17,000 of us, in Australia and New Zealand provide a range of postal, banking, communication, data management, logistics and distribution services - helping New Zealand run.

We have been a State Owned Enterprise since 1987 and each year deliver a return to our shareholder (the Government).
