Applications for Community Post 2010 are now closed. We will advise you of the outcome by the end of October.

Each year we get an increase on the number of applications we receive. In order to meet these expectations we have set criteria which our boards use as a basis for their allocations.

Applications must fulfil all of the following requirements:

  • Applications must be for a specific project. (Community Post is not designed for general administration of an organisation)
  • Preference will be given to projects that support our community investment plan. Our focus is on social and economic growth.
  • They must operate in, and benefit the region being applied to
  • Applicants must be a local or regional organisation
  • They must require postage; and
  • They must be for an organisation project which fits within the five Community Post categories (Education, Health and Welfare, Sport and recreation, Arts and Culture, Environment).

Applicants must fulfil at least one of the following:

  • Be an incorporated society
  • Be a registered charitable trust; or
  • Be a body or club that is controlled by an association of people under an adopted constitution and rules, with annual accounts and reports.
