Get six major currencies at selected PostShops instantly or you'll get it at 0% commission*.

For fast foreign exchange, call into any of our "fast foreign exchange" PostShops. These PostShops hold:

  • Australian Dollars
  • British Pounds
  • Euros
  • Japanese Yen
  • Singapore Dollars
  • US Dollars. 

The maximum currency order for our commission free offer is NZ$2,000 equivalent. 

You can also order a wide range of other currencies for collection  - ask in store for details.

Order your foreign currency for collection later

If your local PostShop is not a fast foreign exchange location you can still order foreign cash for collection later.

  • Currencies available to order.
  • Orders placed by 3pm Monday to Friday are available for collection the next business day.
  • Orders placed after 3pm will be available for collection two business days later.
  • There is a minimum order value of NZ$30 equivalent.
  • We charge 1% commission (NZ$7.5 minimum) on foreign currency purchases.

Convert your foreign currency to New Zealand Dollars

  • When converting your foreign cash back to NZ Dollars we charge 0% commission*.
  • You can call into any one of our PostShops to sell your foreign cash on the spot, or to exchange your foreign currency traveller's cheques for New Zealand Dollars.
