New Zealand Post Group has been a sponsor of the New Zealand International Arts Festival since 1994. It's the premier cultural event of Aotearoa and a leading multi-arts festival in Australasia. The Festival has an esteemed reputation among artists and audiences for bringing the very best from around the globe to New Zealand.
The festival runs from Friday 24 February to Sunday 18 March.

SchoolFest
As part of our partnership, New Zealand Post has been given the naming rights for sponsoring SchoolFest 2012 for the first time. SchoolFest compliments other literacy and community activity including the Books in Homes, New Zealand Post Children’s Book Awards, New Zealand Post Book Awards and Literacy Aotearoa.

Creative Break competition
Creative Break is all about fun this summer. New Zealand Post, with the New Zealand International Arts Festival, are looking for creative teens to share their skills and talents. Simply send anything you've created over the summer break and be in to win a $30 Prezzy Card or the main prize — a creative break in Wellington at the New Zealand International Arts Festival.

Terms and conditions
- Entrants must be Year 9 to Year 13 students currently enrolled in a New Zealand school (or verified home-schooling equivalent) for the 2012 school year.
- In order to enter the competition, entrants must complete an online form and upload an original image, video link or text onto the competition Facebook page. Videos must be no longer than 5 minutes. All entries must be the original, unpublished work of the entrant. Do not incorporate another person's trademarks, copyright or intellectual property in the entry.
- Entries will only be accepted if the content is deemed (at New Zealand Post's sole discretion) as appropriate for an online public audience. Do not send any illegal, offensive or vulgar material. Any entry that does not comply will not be eligible for entry and will be destroyed. New Zealand Post may, at its sole discretion, remove from, or refuse to upload or display, any entry on the competition Facebook page.
- You may submit as many different entries as you like. Each entry must be submitted through a separate online entry form.
- Both individual and group entries will be accepted. If you are entering a group collaboration you must ensure the group accept these terms and conditions too. Should a group entry be a main prize winner, only a maximum of two individuals per winning group together with a guardian will be allowed to travel to experience the 2012 New Zealand International Arts Festival in Wellington.
- The competition opens on Tuesday 3 January 2012 and closes at 5pm on Friday 17 February 2012. New Zealand Post will take no responsibility for late or misdirected entries.
- Three winning entries will be selected by New Zealand Post's judging panel to receive the main prize of — travel to Wellington for the winner and a guardian, one night's accommodation, and entry to two New Zealand International Arts Festival performances selected by New Zealand Post. The main prize winning entries (or images/representations of the winning entries) will be displayed in our physical gallery for the 2012 International Arts Festival in Wellington. The winners of the main prize will be notified by Tuesday 21 February 2012 by email. The judging panel's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- One entry will be drawn at random each working day from Tuesday 3 January 2012 at 5pm and continuing until 5pm on Friday 17 February 2012. The draw winner will be notified by email. Draw winners will receive a $30 Prezzy Card. All entries received will be entered in all subsequent draws, but may only win the Prezzy Card prize draw once.
- Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- New Zealand Post will make reasonable attempts to contact each winner of the randomly drawn $30 Prezzy Card and of the main prize, but if a winner is unable to be contacted within 10 days, the prize will be redrawn or an alternative main prize winner may be selected.
- New Zealand Post may display any entries (including the winning main prize entries) in any form and media (including online and at its physical gallery for the 2012 New Zealand International Arts Festival) without further payment to entrants. By entering the competition you license New Zealand Post and our agents to use your entry in different forms for this promotion. Entries will not be returned to entrants.
- By accepting a prize, each winner acknowledges that his or her name, photograph and the entry they have submitted may be used for publicity purposes.
- New Zealand Post is collecting your details only for the purpose of this competition. After the winners have been notified and following the closure of the physical gallery, all entries and entry forms will be destroyed. You may look at and correct any personal information that we hold about you.
- Entry into this competition signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
