International Express Courier has a one to five working day delivery target to any street or rural address. Your documents are tracked and require signature on delivery. There is no additional fuel surcharge or rural delivery fee.
The required postage to send by International Express Courier depends on the destination, weight and size of your documents.

Required postage rates are GST zero rated unless specified. If paying by stamps please add GST, or refer to our GST inclusive postage guide (PDF - 2.65mb).

Sending by International Express Courier
To send by International Express Courier you need to package your documents securely and have a black customs consignment note (CN001), pouch and sticker. You can use your own packaging or choose from one of our products below:
- International Express Courier Postage Included Bag
- a Weigh to Go box, bag or tube
Lodge your mail at your local PostShop and pay the required postage.
Things you need to know
- A copy of the commercial invoice or an Export Invoice (NCPI025) is required for documents weighing over 1kg. For items being sent to the USA, Canada, Central or South America, the sender's address cannot be a PO Box address.
- Items can only be sent to a PO Box address if sent to Bahrain, Cook Islands, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Solomon Islands, United Arab Emirates or Vanuatu and a daytime number for the receiver of the item is written on the consignment note.
- Use this service if your documents weigh less than 1kg. If they are over 1kg they should be sent as a parcel.

Delivery Targets
You can expect that items will usually arrive at their destination within the delivery target specified. Because New Zealand Post does not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, we cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is dutiable or held in Customs, may take longer. The required postage is the value of postage required for New Zealand Post to carry the item. Actual price paid may vary instore. The required postage and specifications are subject to change.

Subject to our terms and conditions, documents under NZ$2,000 in value sent by International Express Courier are covered for loss or damage by our standard compensation. Documents valued between NZ$2,000 and NZ$50,000 are classified as high risk items and can only be sent if additional compensation cover is purchased for 1.06% of the item’s declared value.
