All Blacks fans send a clear message of support with new stamp
Ten young All Blacks fans got to send a very special message of support to the All Blacks ahead of Saturday’s Investec Tri Nations and Bledisloe clash with the Wallabies in Christchurch.
Students from Papanui Primary School became the first people in the world to use the New Zealand Post All Blacks stamps, officially available from tomorrow, 4 August.
The young All Blacks fans wished All Blacks Coach Graham Henry and the team all the best for the Bledisloe battle with the Wallabies.
As a finishing touch to the special messages of support, the letters were stamped by All Blacks squad members Kieran Read, Cory Jane and Liam Messam as they met the young fans at a New Zealand Post REAL Aotearoa Store in Christchurch.
Building up to arguably the biggest year in New Zealand rugby history,New Zealand Post will be releasing a number of official All Blacks stamps and coins. These reflect our nation’s history, culture and sporting excellence.
This All Blacks stamp range includes two stamp denominations, one for domestic and one for international postage requirements. Also available is an 'Official Collection Pack'’ for rugby fans and collectors alike.
Future All Blacks stamp and coins will be available in the coming months.
The current All Blacks stamp range also includes a miniature sheet, a first day cover, a miniature sheet first day cover and a Personalised Stamp sheet.
