Delivering for good is at the heart of what we do, so this year we’ve picked 11 organisations to support with free domestic courier services for an entire year.

These organisations are all doing amazing work to connect communities and improve belonging and inclusion, something NZers told us they felt they were losing. Providing our services for free, allows these hard-working organisations to re-invest the money they would have spent with us, back into their good work.

And even better, you helped us pick one lucky winner to receiver not just one, but two years of free domestic courier services. Find out about all the deserving winners and the amazing work they do below.

Downlights New Zealand

Who will be receiving 2 years’ worth of free domestic courier services.

Downlights is a NZ owned, certified social enterprise who employs young adults with Down syndrome & cognitive disabilities. Fostering the development of workplace skills of their people in a supportive and safe environment, Downlights manufacture handmade luxury candles, diffusers and other fragranced products. Courier services are a critical part of their business, getting their much-loved products to customers across NZ. Our free courier services will allow Downlights to invest that extra money back in to their people.

We will also be providing these deserving organisations with a year’s worth of free domestic courier services each to support their initiatives, which will allow them to reinvest money they would have normally spent on deliveries, back into their business.

Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa

Enabling everyone in NZ to have equal opportunities to participate in the digital world is the Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa's (DIIA) mission. As a not-for-profit organisation, the DIIA works with local community partners to help people who are digitally excluded connect to the internet and gain confidence in using digital technologies. Our courier services are an essential component of enabling connection through the distribution of modems, and these services being free will be helping the DIIA expand their reach.

VOYCE - Whakarongo Mai

VOYCE - Whakarongo Mai stands for Voice of the Young and Care Experienced - Listen to me. VOYCE is an independent advocacy charity that supports, connects, and amplifies the voices of young people in foster or whanau care across Aotearoa. Our free courier services will be supporting VOYCE in sending care packages including products like shampoo, stickers and notepads to the new tamariki entering care each month.

Girl Guides Association

Building girls' confidence and teaching them life skills through fun adventure, friendship and connection is at the heart of GirlGuiding New Zealand. Our free courier services will be supporting their distribution of welcome packs, including a sash, which the girls sew their badges on and proudly wear alongside over 10,000,000 girls and women throughout the world.

Grief Support and Education Charitable Trust

The Grief Centre offers much-needed grief and loss support to children, youth, adults, families, or whanau experiencing any form of significant loss. Our free courier services will be supporting their efforts to provide continuing support and communication to those that need it most.

Heart Kids NZ

Providing suppport at every step of the heart journey – from when a heart condition is diagnosed, through childhood, the teenage years, and into adulthood. Heart Kids offers practical and emotional support to those affected by heart conditions. Our free courier services will be helping Heart Kids distribute time-sensitive parcels to those in need.

Land Search and Rescue

Registered charity, Land Search and Rescue has over 3,500 voluntary members across NZ from Stewart Island to the far North. These volunteers offer their time to assist in the paramount job of locating the lost, the missing and injured. Our free courier services will be supporting them in getting vital information and parcels reliably across New Zealand.

Nisa

Providing not just a first job in NZ, but a first step in a long career. Nisa is an underwear label and social enterprise, employing women from refugee and migrant backgrounds in their Wellington studio. As a social enterprise, Nisa's online orders fund their organisation and oyr free Courier services will allow them to scale up internationally.

NZ Young Farmers

Not-for-profit organisation NZ Young Farmers actively grows networks of support and knowledge to improve the wellbeing of people in rural communities. NZ Young Farmers enable their members to socialise and learn new skills, while also giving back to the rural fabric of NZ. Our free courier services will be supporting the distribution of their resources, wider than their staff can reach.

Orange Sky New Zealand

Orange Sky New Zealand is a world-first service that provides free laundry, warm showers and genuine conversation to people experiencing homelessness. Our free courier services will be support Orange Sky's annual 'Sudsy Challenge' which encourages the community to 'keep their kit on' for three days and talk about the issue of homelessness.

Recreate NZ

Recreate NZ offers over 5000 places on over 550 unique ½ day to 6-day adventure, recreation, social, education and work-skills programmes per annum – for 600+ children and youth with disabilities, and their families in the Auckland, Waikato, Wellington, Bay of Plenty and Christchurch regions. Recreate NZ will be using our free courier services to send their illuminate products to customers all over NZ, such as their ‘Our Harvest’ preserves, allowing them to further support social enterprises run by disadvantaged young people.
