I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling a sense of disbelief that it is almost the end of 2019!
But the end of the year does mean a break for many of us and the chance to relax and recharge the batteries.
It’s also a great time for me to reach out and say thank you for being one of our business customers. All that we have achieved together over the last twelve months would not have been possible without your ongoing support and commitment.
Some highlights include our continued focus on being your best partner for online shopping. We have shared our expertise and thought leadership in the second, The Full Download report to help you make the most of the boom in online shopping. In the report we highlight the big changes in online shopping and consumer behaviour over the last year and present these insights and trends in a way to help you grow your business online.
To support our purpose, to deliver what you and your customers care about, we have built a unique Parcel Notifications system which provides your customers with transparent communication of their parcel deliveries in real time. This is now enabled for our business customers and adds to the anticipation and delight of your customers receiving parcels by giving them more control and visibility of their deliveries. It also significantly improves first time delivery.
And we couldn’t get to the busiest time of year and not mention that! We are currently handling our highest volumes of the year and we’ve planned and invested heavily in our network and resourcing to make sure that we can get your customers’ presents under their Christmas trees in time.
And finally, as we head to the end of 2019 and look forward to working on the plans we have in the pipeline for 2020, I’d like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.
