You can choose to let New Zealand Post send notifications to your customers via Email for free and or via SMS (12.5c each) for up to four different delivery notifications:

When the parcel is picked up - Parcel collected When it's with the Courier for delivery - Parcel on its way When the parcel is successfully delivered - Parcel delivered When delivered is attempted but could not be completed - Delivery is attempted but not completed.

All you need to do is include the customer's mobile number and/or email address in the data manifest that you send us and we will do the rest.​

It’s easy to get started. There are just a few requirements your business should meet:​

  • You need to have a New Zealand Post business account​
  • Customer’s mobile number and email address need to be included in the data manifest that you send us​
  • You should get any consents you need for the customer details you send us.
