NZ Post Concierge Service

We want to make sure we’re helping you as much as we can at New Zealand Fashion Week. Because you're a NZ Post customer, we're thrilled to offer you our complimentary Concierge Service to and from New Zealand Fashion Week.

The dedicated service can pick up your items from within the Auckland metro area and deliver it to your New Zealand Fashion Week venue.

We can take up to four people in our courier/passenger van if you'd like to travel with your items (depending on availability). Otherwise, our NZ Post concierge, who will be based backstage at the Viaduct Events Centre, will make sure your items are ready and waiting for you.

We can then return you and your items back to the original pick up point or an alternate Auckland metro area destination of your choice. Our vans will have racks to hang garments, and shelving.

If you have any urgent delivery requirements during New Zealand Fashion Week, our concierge will also be available on site at the Viaduct Events Centre all week to help.

Bookings can be made until 5pm, Friday 10th August. Availability is limited, and priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Terms & Conditions - for the NZ Post Concierge Service Offer at NZ Fashion Week

As the Official Delivery Partner of New Zealand Fashion Week, NZ Post is offering NZ Post's customers involved in NZFW a free of charge dedicated service pickup to move items to and from the NZFW venue (onsite or offsite).

NZ Post will offer the following services free of charge to NZ Post customers participating at NZ Fashion Week:

  • A dedicated service pickup to move items from the pickup point (within 30km of the venue) to the venue and return delivery after the show or event.
  • An on demand standard PACE service available on site at the Viaduct Events Centre.

The following conditions of use apply:

Dedicated Fashion Week service

  • Bookings for the service need to be received by 5pm Friday 10 August 2018 to be eligible for the dedicated service. This lead time is required in order for us to plan the services ahead of time.
  • NZ Post will be in touch 20– 24 August 2018, to confirm your pick-up and delivery time details.
  • This service is only available in the Auckland metro area (30km maximum from venue).
  • To book NZ Post customers must use the online booking form available here.

The following terms and conditions apply:

  • This offer is only available to NZ Post parcel and courier services customers who have an active NZ Post account.
  • Garments / items must be packed and ready for dispatch at the assigned pick-up point at the agreed time. Garments must be on hangers or boxed. All other goods (i.e. shoes and accessories) must be boxed and sealed.
  • Pick up times will be agreed between both parties based on a number of variables including, ‘bump in’ time for the show, time of day and traffic period, and distance to travel to venue.
  • There must be at least 24-hours’ notice prior to your NZFW show of any change to the agreed details e.g. times, volumes, special requirements, etc.
  • NZ Post will endeavour to meet agreed scheduled delivery times but cannot be held responsible for disruption outside of its control, including a major traffic incident.
  • NZ Post undertakes to provide a dedicated service – i.e. there will be only one designer’s collection per vehicle.
  • We have only one van that can transport passengers. This will be allocated on a first-in, first-served basis.
  • The main vehicles for this service are provided by Trucks & Trailers. Some may also be supplied from NZ Post's fleet.
  • Our Services are provided “at limited carriers’ risk”. We limit our liability to you to a maximum of $2,000 (including GST) for direct loss of, or damage to, each unit of goods. Please advise if you wish to purchase additional compensation cover for your garments/goods.
  • Our standard courier services terms apply.
  • If you do not wish to use the dedicated service described above, we can still offer our standard on demand PACE service free of charge.

On demand standard PACE service:

  • This is our standard urgent courier service - select from 30 to 180-minute delivery times.
  • Whilst onsite at NZFW this service can be organised through the NZ Post Concierge Service located backstage.
  • The service is not dedicated.
  • The service is subject to availability (we will have some standby capacity, but availability will not be guaranteed) and we may not have vehicles available for hanging garments.
  • Our Services are provided “at limited carriers’ risk”. We limit our liability to you to a maximum of $2,000 (including GST) for direct loss of, or damage to, each unit of goods. Please advise if you wish to purchase additional compensation cover for your garments/goods.
