Terms & Conditions for NZ Fashion Week Offers to designers and NZFW partners and suppliers

As the Official Logistics Partner, NZ Post has the following benefits available to designers, NZFW partners, suppliers and other participants involved in NZFW.

  1. A free of charge dedicated service pickup to move garments to and from the NZFW venue (onsite or offsite) – for NZFW designers only
  2. Using NZ Post's online label generator (eShip) send up to 40 parcels throughout New Zealand free of charge over a three-week period (parcel dimension and weight restrictions apply)

Free delivery to and from NZ Fashion Week - NZFW Designers only

NZ Post will offer the following services free of charge to designers showing at NZ Fashion Week:

  • A dedicated service pickup to move garments from the pickup point (within 30km of the venue) to the venue and return delivery after the show.
  • An on demand standard PACE service.

The following conditions of use apply:

Dedicated Fashion Week service

  • Bookings for the service need to be provided by 5pm Friday 11 August 2017 to be eligible for the dedicated service options. This lead time is required in order for us to plan the services ahead of time.
  • This service is only available in the Auckland metro area (30km maximum from venue).
  • To book, email nzfw@nzpost.co.nz and supply the following information:
    • Expected number of garments that need to be hung.
    • Expected number of boxes (shoes/accessories) to be transported.
    • Pickup point and delivery point (i.e. Viaduct Event Centre or offsite location).
    • Required arrival time (please note NZ Post will advise a preferred pick up time based on traffic flow and distance to venue).  NZ Post reserves the right to adjust pick up time based on expected arrival time.
    • If the return service pick up point is different from the original pickup point, please specify.
    • Contact details - name, mobile, email, and a secondary contact.
    • Names of anyone accompanying the garments and shoes/accessories (can accommodate up to 4 people).  Subject to availability.
    • Please advise if you wish to purchase additional compensation cover for your garments/goods (otherwise compensation limit is $2,000 (including GST)).

The following terms and conditions apply:

  • Garments must be packed and ready for dispatch at the assigned pickup point at the agreed time.  Garments must be on hangers or boxed.  All other goods (i.e. shoes and accessories) must be boxed and sealed.
  • Pick up times will be agreed between both parties based on a few variables i.e. when ‘bump in’ time is for show, time of day (is it at peak traffic periods) and distance to travel to venue.
  • There must be at least 24 hours’ notice prior to your NZFW show of any change of requirements - times, volumes, special requirements.
  • NZ Post will endeavour to meet agreed scheduled delivery times but cannot be held responsible for disruption outside of its control, including a major traffic incident.
  • NZ Post undertakes to provide a dedicated service to the designers – i.e only one designer per vehicle.
  • Our Services are provided “at limited carriers’ risk”. We limit our liability to you to a maximum of $2,000 (including GST) for direct loss of, or damage to, each unit of goods.  Please advise if you wish to purchase additional compensation cover for your garments/goods.

If you do not wish to use the dedicated service described above, we can still offer our standard on demand PACE service free of charge.

On demand standard PACE service:

  • This is our standard urgent courier service - select from 30 to 180-minute delivery times.
  • Whilst onsite at NZFW this service can be organised through the NZ Post Concierge Service located backstage.
  • The service is not dedicated.
  • The service is subject to availability (we will have some standby capacity but availability will not be guaranteed) and we may not have vehicles available for hanging garments.
  • Our Services are provided “at limited carriers’ risk”. We limit our liability to you to a maximum of $2,000 (including GST) for direct loss of, or damage to, each unit of goods.  Please advise if you wish to purchase additional compensation cover for your garments/goods.

Free Parcel Delivery using eShip

  • eShip is an online application that generates courier labels and simplifies and automates the process of delivering your customer orders.
  • eShip will allow you to send up to 40 parcels across the country (New Zealand only) by printing courier labels within a 3-week period.
  • The maximum dimensions for larger parcels are:
    Weight = 25kg
    Volume = 0.125m3
    Length = 1.5m
    Dimension and weight restrictions include the packaging.
  • The eShip account will be deactivated when 40 free courier labels are used or trial period ends (3 weeks), whichever comes first.
  • To take up this offer, you must give NZ Post permission to activate your account by calling 0800 959 057 no later than Monday 4th September 2017.
  • You will need to supply the below information to complete the eShip set-up:
    • Email ID (preferably work email)
    • Business name
    • Pick up location (this is the location where courier drivers can pick up parcels)
  • An eShip account will be created for the nominated email ID supplied.
  • We will send an email with eShip login credentials within 5 working days of accepting this offer, enabling you to immediately start sending free parcels. Instructions on how to use eShip will be supplied in this email.
