Ideal for sending letters, documents and postcards within New Zealand, with a next working day delivery target between major towns and cities. From 1 January 2018 the FastPost service will no longer be available and customers will be able to use an alternative product to send their mail.
FastPost has a next working day delivery target for sending across town or between major towns and cities and offers a range of letter sizes and postage options. Delivery other than between major towns and cities (listed in Terms and conditions) may take longer. Due to transport schedules, the delivery target for FastPost from some major towns and cities to particular other major towns and cities on some days is two (2) working days (as detailed in Terms and conditions).
The required postage to send mail by FastPost is based on the size and weight of your letter or document.

Sending mail by FastPost
Please apply a FastPost sticker to the top left hand corner of the envelope as well as the correct postage, or use a FastPost Postage Included Envelope. This is to ensure it's correctly streamed as FastPost mail. If you are a business use a Digital Postage Meter impression.
Post your mail in the FastPost slot of a New Zealand Post street posting box or your local PostShop letter slot. Or to get a New Zealand Post Account and discuss having your mail picked up, talk to us today.
If you do have a courier pick up, please ensure you separate and bundle your FastPost mail from your other mail so it’s clearly identified as requiring priority service.
