Courier parcels and mail
Last updated: 11:30am, 23 April.
Heavy rain and adverse weather conditions across the Greater Wellington and Wairarapa regions have disrupted delivery services. Operations have now resumed where it is safe to do so; however, some rural areas remain inaccessible and minor disruption may continue.
Please allow up to 1–2 working days for the delivery of any delayed mail and parcels. NZ Post retail outlets, including Waterloo Quay, Johnsonville, and Te Puni, have reopened.
Weather related road closures into Taranaki (from the north) remain in place. Please expect delays of 1-2 working days.
Inter island services: Ferry services have resumed; however, Economy items travelling into the South Island may experience additional delays of up to one working day while volumes are cleared.
