Ferry services between the North and South Islands have been cancelled due to forecast heavy swells from 3:30am on Tuesday 4 August. We have plans in place to resume moving Economy parcels between the islands once ferry services restart. While we are working hard to minimise disruption, delays of 2-3 working days are expected for inter-island Economy parcels travelling between the North and South Islands.
Heavy snowfall is impacting mail deliveries in Dunedin and some Christchurch suburbs. Deliveries will continue where it is safe to do so, however please expect minor delays for mail deliveries.
This information will be updated as circumstances change, which will not necessarily be daily.
