Christmas & New Year Delivery times
Our team will be delivering to a different schedule over the holiday break. The information below lets you know when your parcels and mail will be delivered over the Christmas and New Year period.

* Courier Overnight parcels: Parcels sent on Wednesday 24 December and ticketed for ‘Saturday delivery’ will be targeted for delivery on Saturday 27 December. Parcels sent on Wednesday 24 December will be targeted for delivery on Monday 29 December. Parcels sent on Wednesday 31 December and ticketed ‘Saturday delivery’ will be targeted for delivery on Saturday 3 January. Parcels sent on Wednesday 31 December will be targeted for delivery on Monday 5 January.
PO Box Lobbies: These will be closed on 25 – 26 December and 1 – 2 January as these are public holidays.
Collect My Parcel/Missed My Parcel: Open on Wednesday 24 December. The next collection day will be Monday 29 December.
Rural & Dangerous Goods items: When sending parcels to rural locations, or sending parcels that contain dangerous goods, please allow up to an additional 3 working days for delivery.
Mail and Rural: Services do not operate 25 – 28 December and 1 – 4 January.
Courier Economy items: Inter-Island Economy parcels sent on Wednesday 24 December will be targeted for delivery on Tuesday 30 December. Inter-Island Economy parcels sent on Wednesday 31 December will be targeted for delivery on Tuesday 6 January.
Delivery Target: Delivery targets are a guide only and we do not guarantee that your item will reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery to and from rural or remote areas may take longer. For the purpose of delivery targets, the day in which an item is accepted by us is day zero. If you post an item or hand it over the counter in a NZ Post store after that day’s final clearance, or on a Saturday or Sunday, day zero will be the next working day.
