International Air is a fast and affordable way for your business to send parcels overseas.
International Air has a 3 - 10 working days delivery target to over 220 destinations, including PO Boxes and rural areas worldwide.
The required postage is based on the weight of the parcel and charged in 10g increments, so you only pay for what it weighs. The minimum charge for International Air parcels is 200g.
You can send parcels by International Air to PO Boxes and rural areas for no extra cost. Use the Rate Finder for more details on the options available and the associated cost to send your parcel. If your parcel does not match the dimensions specified, another service maybe more applicable. Sending by International Air
To send your parcel by International Air you need to have:
- a green Customs declaration (OS008a), listing each item and its value and attached to your parcel (for parcels up to 2kg)
- a red consignment note (OS007), or white consignment note (CN300) listing each item and its commercial value in the space provided (for parcels over 2kg)
- an Export Invoice (NCPI025) or a copy of the commercial invoice attached to the outside of the parcel if your parcel is being sent as part of a commercial transaction.

The standard terms and conditions of the products and services offered by New Zealand Post Limited, including information on the extent of our liability, are set out in the Public Contract and the Postal Users' Guide. They are also available for reference at PostShop stores and selected New Zealand Post retail outlets.
You can expect that items will usually arrive at their destination within the delivery target specified. Because New Zealand Post does not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, we cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is dutiable or held in Customs, may take longer. The required postage is the value of postage required for New Zealand Post to carry the item. Actual price paid may vary instore. The required postage and specifications are subject to change.
