International Express Courier
A premium courier service to over 220 destinations worldwide for urgent, secure and confirmed delivery to the door.
International Express Courier has a one to five working day delivery target to any street or rural address. Your parcel is tracked and requires a signature on delivery. There is no additional fuel surcharge or rural delivery fee.
The required postage to send by International Express Courier depends on the destination, weight and size of your parcel.
Unless packed in International Courier bags, International Express Courier items are charged at the greater of the actual or volumetric weight, in 10g increments. Items sent in International Courier bags are charged at actual weight.
Volumetric weight (kg) = (height (m) x length (m) x depth (m)) x 200
Use International Express Courier if your parcel is up to 30kg. If it’s over 30kg it is oversized and should be sent via Freight.

Sending items by International Express Courier
Package your parcel securely, with a black customs consignment note, pouch and sticker. You can use your own packaging or choose from one of these products:

Things you need to know
- All parcels sent internationally require a Customs declaration. For items being sent to the USA, Canada, Central or South America, the sender's address cannot be a PO Box address.
- Items can only be sent to a PO Box address if sent to Bahrain, Cook Islands, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Solomon Islands, United Arab Emirates or Vanuatu and a daytime number for the receiver of the item is written on the consignment note.
- Parcels valued over NZ$1,000 require an Export Entry, please see Customs declaration.

Delivery Targets
You can expect that items will usually arrive at their destination within the delivery target specified. Because New Zealand Post does not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, we cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is dutiable or held in Customs, may take longer. Required postage
The required postage is the value of postage required for New Zealand Post to carry the item. Actual price paid may vary instore. The required postage and specifications are subject to change.

Subject to our terms and conditions, parcels under NZ$2,000 in value are covered for loss or damage by our standard compensation. Parcels valued between NZ$2,000 and NZ$50,000 are classified as high risk items and can only be sent if you purchase additional compensation cover for 1.06% of the item’s declared value.
