Result Details

When the Address and Postcode Finder finds a single result, or when you select a result from the list on the Results Summary page, the details are displayed on the Result Details page.

If the details are a deliverable address, they are displayed as a postal address label:

To send mail to a street address, you must also include any relevant unit (e.g. Flat, Apartment, Suite, etc), floor (e.g. Level, Floor, etc) and building name information above the address details shown on the postal address label. For example:

The recipient's name should be included above the other address details. For example:

If the details are not a complete postal address, they are displayed as partial address details:

Note: New Zealand Post can't deliver mail to a partial address. To display a postal address label, you should specify at least:

• street number and street name for a street address, or
• box or bag number for a PO Box or Private Bag address.

View a map

You can display a map illustrating the result by clicking on VIEW MAP button on the right side of the address details on the Result Details page:

Results Summary

When the Address and Postcode Finder finds more than one result matching your search criteria, the results are displayed in a table on the Results Summary page.

The results are sorted by postcode, meaning they will be sorted and grouped approximately geographically north to south:

If there are more than 10 results, click on NEXT to see more results. Click on BACK to see the previous page of results.

To display the Result Details page for any single result on the table, click on the row of that result:
