International Bulk Mail
A cost-effective way to send large amounts of letters and documents internationally through International Air with a delivery target of three to 10 working days.
International Bulk Mail is available to New Zealand Post Account customers who post large amounts of mail at the same time - it offers greater flexibility with weight and size limits and can cut back administrative time and costs.
Key benefits
- Flexibility: each letter has a maximum allowable weight of 500g. Oversized printed material and parcels have a maximum allowable weight of 1kg.
- Easy to use: only sort by destination country.
- Items based on actual weight: prices are based on the weight and destination of your items. You only pay for what you send, up to the next 10g increment for each item.
- Zero-rated GST: this saves you administrative time in reclaiming GST and improving cash flow.*
- International Bulk Mail includes standard compensation for loss or damage up to NZ$250** per item, except for items which are classified as High Risk
*The cost of domestic air freight, if requested, will attract GST.
**This limit is subject to a number of important limitations and exclusions in particular in relation to High Risk and Prohibited items. For further information about our compensation terms and conditions and High Risk and Prohibited items, please refer to the relevant sections of the Postal Users Guide, read our Compensation and High Risk items or call our Customer Service Centre on 0800 501 501.
