We can deliver most food products including perishable items for you, however there are a few restrictions and requirements to be aware of before booking a delivery with us, which will help you avoid unnecessary delays:
- To send perishables, you’ll need to comply with the Perishables service specifications and complete our Food Product Information form.
- A perishable item is anything that could be spoiled or harmed due to handling or temperature and time sensitivity.
- Perishables must be packaged to last throughout the same day or overnight service you have booked, or up to an additional 3 days for rural delivery. If needed, we can help you source appropriate packaging.
- If delivery of perishables can’t be completed because they have passed their expiry dates, we will notify you and dispose of the items hygienically. Special requirements for disposal can be requested.
- Delivery labels must be created using one of our online labelling tools.
