This major update for our mobile app brings a new look and feel, enhancing your overall user experience. To use the app and enjoy a personalised experience, you must log in using your My NZ Post account.
We have improved parcel visibility and management in the latest update, and made it easier to access to all your favourite tools. These features enhance usability and aim to provide a more intuitive interface.
To update the NZ Post app to the latest version, follow these steps:
- Open your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android or App Store for iOS).
- Search for NZ Post in the app store.
- If an update is available, you will see an "Update" button. Tap on it to download and install the latest version.
No, updating the app will not result in any data loss. All your existing data related to your My NZ Post account will remain after the update. Please note you'll need to log in to the app once updated.
Absolutely! The new update is fully compatible with your existing account. You can continue using the app seamlessly without any interruptions. You just need to log in to your My NZ Post account after you’ve installed or updated the app. If you’ve forgotten your password you can reset it within the app.
Yes, the new update brings improvements to the app's UI. We have made specific changes to enhance the overall visual appeal and make navigation more intuitive. We believe you will find the updated UI easier to use.
You need to have a My NZ Post account to use this app and creating one is easy and free. You can do this when you first download and open the app.
If you don’t already have the NZ Post app on your device, the newly updated NZ Post app is the only option for you to download from the app store.
The previous version will still allow you to see updates to your parcel’s journey, but you won’t be able to enjoy the advanced functionality of the new update. We recommend using your device’s web browser to access the tools at nzpost.co.nz/tools.
We have thoroughly tested this new update to ensure our customers enjoy a great experience on their device, but unexpected issues may arise in rare cases. We look to address any unexpected issues that may occur through an update to the app.
The new update is generally available for most devices and operating systems. However, there may be certain limitations or compatibility requirements. Please check the app store and operating system requirements for your specific device.
The new update may require additional permissions to access certain features or functions. For example, the app will ask for your permission to access your camera for the barcode scanner. You will be prompted to grant these permissions at the time you access the features and functions. Rest assured we understand that privacy is important to you, and we’re committed to protecting it when providing products and services to you.
Yes! You’ll stay logged in to the app as long as you’re active on the app every 30 days – making the NZ Post app the quickest and most seamless way to track your parcels.
If you haven’t visited the app for more than 30 days, you’ll have to login again for security reasons.
You can use your credit or debit card to pay for Saturday or evening delivery. We offer secure payment processing provided by Windcave. The mobile app won’t save your credit or debit card details for added security.
The mobile app doesn't currently support logging in using RealMe but it is a feature NZ Post would like to implement in the future. In the meantime, if you would like to use your RealMe account you will need to continue using nzpost.co.nz. Alternatively, you can create a new account using your email address if you'd like to use the mobile app.
