Received mail that isn’t yours? It's easy to get it back to the sender.
How to return to sender
If you have received mail that was not meant for you, it's easy to send it back.
Simply write ‘return to sender’ on the front of the envelope or parcel, and pop it in a post box or hand in at your local NZ Post store.
No sender’s address? Don't worry - it will be sent to NZ Post’s Returned Letters Office and will be dealt with in accordance with the Postal Services Act 1998.
