An end-of-year message from Dave
As we near the end of a challenging and interesting 2021, it is great to connect with you and say thanks for choosing us as your delivery partner.
It’s fair to say that COVID-19 threw yet another curve ball at us in the latter part of the year and I am very proud of all that we did to expand our network to support our customers in very difficult circumstances. That time wasn’t without its challenges however and I wanted to say thank you for your patience and cooperation as we worked together.
You’ll know that it’s been a record-breaking year with huge increases in online shopping creating volumes that we’ve not experienced before. We’ve kept you informed throughout the year and I hope you have enjoyed and benefited from the market insights in our 2021 Full Download Report and regular eCommerce Spotlights. We’re committed to providing you with more insights in 2022 to help you continue to be successful.
And looking to the new year, there is plenty to be excited about. Investment in our network backbone will ramp up and we will open new facilities in Christchurch and a site in Wellington in the first half of the year. Both of these will add capacity to our network and allow us to help you grow your business.
Ahead of that, I hope you can take some time to recharge over the holidays.
