How can I partner with NZ Post as a retail agent?
We’re looking for retail partners that consistently deliver great customer experiences, operate efficiently and are ready to grow with us. If you think your store would be a great fit with the NZ Post brand, here are some qualities we look for in retail agency partners:
- Strong business acumen
- Compliance driven
- Customer experience focused
- Care for in-store presentation
There are two main ways to join our retail network
Take over an existing agency
This is the most common pathway. If you're considering purchasing a retail business that already hosts an NZ Post agency, you'll need to contact the current business owner or their agent directly. Once an Agreement for Sale and Purchase is signed, NZ Post will begin the approval process for the ownership change.
Integrate a new agency into an existing business
From time to time, NZ Post identifies opportunities to establish new retail agencies in areas where customer demand supports it. In those situations, we welcome Expressions of Interest from business owners already trading from suitably located business premises.
Please note
We are not currently seeking to establish additional retail agencies in New Zealand.
We appreciate your interest and encourage business owners to stay connected for future opportunities where replacement of existing agencies may be required.
