Frequently asked questions

Oversize by Fliway is for NZ Post business account holders who qualify to have/or have a Business Manager. If you have an existing NZ Post account, you can start sending today via eShip. If you wish to send via API, reach out to your Business manager. If you're not an existing NZ Post account holder and wish to get set up please get in touch with our business specialists.

No. You just need to be a customer of NZ Post sending on either API or our eShip platform. Check out the Oversize by Fliway overview on the eShip change log to find out more about how it works. 

When you create a shipping label, you will be asked when the item will be ready for collection. Once you complete the label creation a pickup job will automatically be booked for you.

You and your receiver will receive an e-mail letting you know a collection has been booked for the oversize item/s. Collection will be on the driver’s next visit to your area. We aim to collect on the same day for bookings made before 11am.


Please note, rural address collection and delivery may take up to an additional 3 business days. Delivery targets are measured from time of collection.

No. Since these items are too big for the NZ Post network, we will move your items through the Fliway network. One of our friendly Fliway drivers will collect this freight separately.

Oversize by Fliway is currently an Authority to Leave, no signature on delivery service. GPS Delivery address locations and Authority to Leave photos are available upon request.

You can track your Oversize by Fliway items the same way you track all your other NZ Post items, using the online NZ Post tracking tool, NZ Post mobile app or your Parcel Track API.

  1. Entry is open to on account NZ Post customers who send via the NZ Post eShip platform. Employees and contractors of New Zealand Post Group and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. 
  2. The competition runs from 30 October 2025 to 15 December 2025. 
  3. To enter, you must send an Oversize by Fliway item. Each item sent qualifies for an additional entry. 
  4. Items must be sent to customers via the eShip portal and have received an acceptance scan by 12:00am 15 December 2025. NZ Post will take no responsibility for technical issues with eShip which prevent your item from being sent or being visible to NZ Post. 
  5. The prize is a table tennis set for your office. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 
  6. The winner will be drawn on 21 January 2025.  
  7. The winner will be notified by telephone or email via their NZ Post Business Manager. NZ Post will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner, but if the winner is unable to be contacted within 7 days, the prize will be redrawn. 
  8. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  9. By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that their company name and a relevant photograph may be used for publicity purposes. 
  10. Entry into the competition implies full acceptance of these terms.
