Send large numbers of international letters and small parcels up to 2kg on a regular basis through International Air.
International Air Satchel service is a semi-tracked sending option to send large amounts of letters and small parcels up to 2kg on a regular basis through International Air.
International Air Satchel service has a 3 to 10 working day delivery target. It is a satchel lodgement option available to customers with an NZ Post Business Account for mailings of over 50 International Air letters and small parcels (up to 2kg per item) or lodgements with postage of NZ$100 or more.
The supplied satchel makes your letters and parcels easy to lodge, and free pick up may be available.
Convenient and easy to use: simply put all your International Air letters and parcels (up to 2kg per item) into the blue satchel provided by NZ Post and complete an IBP009 consignment note.
Free pick up: the satchels are collected by courier free of charge, on a pre-arranged basis.
Visibility: it is a semi-tracked product offering visibility of key points until the point of arrival at destination, provided the shipping label was generated via a NZ Post electronic lodgement tool (such as eShip or APIs).
Only pay for what you send: parcels are charged using continuous weight pricing. This means you will pay for the actual weight of your parcel in 10g increments.
Postage is GST zero rated on all international items: you'll save administration time and improve cash flow, because you don't have to pay GST on the items you send and claim it back later.
A minimum of NZ$100 postage or 50 items per lodgement applies. Only one lodgement may be made per day.
International Air Satchel mail must be lodged in a blue satchel provided by NZ Post.
The required postage to send your items up to 2kg by International Air Satchel is GST zero rated.
