Sending mail by Priority Business Mail
To send your letter, document or postcard by Priority Business Mail use:
- a blue Priority Business Mail service indicator attached to the front, top left-hand corner of the envelope for permit posted; and
- a valid New Zealand delivery address.
Blue Priority service indicators will be available at the end of January. Please overprint the online version onto your envelopes. Note: you must leave 5-10mm between the Priority service indicator and the top and left-hand edges of the mail piece.
Priority Business Mail can only be lodged at the locations detailed below:
Auckland Mail Centre
122 Kerwyn Avenue
CourierPost Wellington Operations Centre

Christchurch Mail Centre
145 Orchard Road
Priority Business Mail items must be received prior to the following lodgement cut-off times:
- Auckland 3.00pm
- Wellington 3.00pm
- Christchurch 3.00pm
Priority Business Mail cannot be lodged at PostShops, PostCentres, Box lobbies or Street Receivers.
Priority Business Mail items may be lodged with your courier if you have a mail pick up service that meets the lodgement cut off time for the lodgement location.
